Hello again!
Honestly I feel bad about forgetting this blog for a while.
I was extremely busy with working at Disney World, haha! I worked costuming from June 2011-January 2012, so i didn't make anything cosplay wise through that period either, which sucks. It was an amazing experience, and I am in the midst of planning on moving back to Orlando to continue working at Disney... so none of the usual cons or the same amount of personal costume production for a while....
I am planning on being at Animazement in Raleigh, NC and Dragon*Con in Atlanta, GA though!
I've been thinking of starting taking commissions. If anyone is reading this, do you have any tips/suggestions?
I will of course have discretion over what I accept and decline to make, so I'm not too worried, but at the same time, should I start small, offering accessories first, or should I dive right in to making complex costumes?
I plan on pimping myself out at the next cons I go to, if people ask about how I made things. For example, someone could ask where I got my Weeping Angel costume, and I could give them a business card and tell them I made it, right? Would that be a kosher way to hand out cards?
Please comment if you have any sort of thoughts on this, please! :)
