As of today there are 24 days until Animazement.
So, I've started work on Flame Princess, as well as a secret costume.
I've gotten everything for Flame Princess, and I'm about halfway done with the dress! The darts are giving me a lot of trouble, as I wanted to avoid having darts under my bust, but I think I'm going to have to cave in and add them so the fit will be how I want it to be.
The wig for Flame Princess is a little beyond intimidating, but I'm going to give it a go, regardless.
I plan on taking a lot of photos of my endeavor (I think of the Pokemon move every time I use that word, haha), so hopefully it will be a good learning experience, as well as more content for this blog.
I apologize for not having much progress content, but how i go about sewing things is really not that exciting... Plus I'm not sure anyone actually reads this...
My secret costume has been called stupid by 2 out of 3 people who know what it is, so I'll just keep it secret until Animazement, where I'm sure I'll be called stupid by all of my friends except for the one who is cosplaying the same series. Whatever, I'll do what I want, and I'll be ridiculous and fabulous and have a lot of fun.
Anywho, I've gotten the wig and everything about 90% finished for the secret costume, so there's that.
I dropped Fi from the lineup, but I hope to have it for Dragon*Con, that is if Ktar and I are even still planning on making Zelda costumes. I don't know what I want to make anymore :|
I was thinking of trying to put together another simple costume for myself and my boyfriend for Animazment, but I'm not sure what I can do with little time as well as something super cheap.
I was thinking something Pokemon, but I guess we can wear Team Magma, for like the 4th year in a row, haha. I love those costumes so much, they're amazingly fun and easy to wear.
I have been wanting to make Team Plasma's costumes, but I never did play Black/White so I feel a little bad making the costumes for something I never played...
Hmmm.... I need some ideas.
